Organization for Teachers + Moms

Organization Blog Post cover.jpgOrganization Blog Post cover.jpg

Welcome back to our Balanced Life blog post series! When we think of organization, we often think of our home, school, work, life and the occasional laundry room or #pantrygoals. I mean, have you seen them on Pinterest? 😱

Have you ever considered what organization really looks like, though? For instance, what do you believe is ”organized” in your personal life? What about in your professional life? Typically, we see trends in these answers. We often believe that organization is just having your work supplies in containers, books lined up nicely in the library, and miscellaneous objects in storage bins.

This IS organization, but what organization looks like at its finest is organizing your schedule, self-care, tasks and life.

By organizing your schedule, you can visually see events that are happening, what needs your attention and where you need to be present. By organizing your self-care, you can make time for yourself and prioritize your health. By organizing your tasks, you can manage your time more effectively and be more productive. You get the picture.

Now that you’ve considered what is organized in your life, I’d like for you to think about what else needs to be organized. Write them down and group them by category. This will help when you implement the following strategies into each area of your life.
