The Only Flight Essentials You’ll Ever Need for Traveling with Your Baby
If you read my Flight Entertainment Activities post, then you know this one was past due. 😊 As previously mentioned, we travel several times a year. Mostly on cruises but also on flights AND most of the time, we take our little one (now 2 1/2 years old) with us. 🛩
In this post, I'm sharing the checklist we use as a family of 3 to pack lightly and simply. We like to use a minimalistic approach when traveling. This means we only pack what we need, a few extras (just in case -- this has saved us many times before! 😜) and get the rest either at the airport or our destination.
FYI - Most places like hotels, cruise ships, airplanes, restaurants, etc. will provide you with many of your baby's necessities such as portable crib, portable highchair, disposable bibs, disposable placemats, extra blankets, and more. You simply have to ask or request these items before you arrive. If you forget, it doesn't hurt to ask when you're there. Also, some cruises and hotels offer diapers and wipes at an extra cost but it might be more beneficial than packing your own (calculate costs, packing space, duration of trip & practicality).
Please note that if you are getting your own items elsewhere, you will need to pack these items for the day of departure & arrival.
Here's a Flight Essentials Checklist I developed for you to help you keep track of what to pack for your baby! 👶

*PLEASE NOTE:
You are packing these items for YOUR family. Be sure to take what is convenient and necessary for you and your family. This is simply a guide as to what I pack when we fly but make sure it suits you and your family, first.
