Hey, hey! Can we cue the fun spring music, flowers and dancing blossoms now or is it still too early? 🌸 I know, you’re probably thinking: “GIRL, you are way too excited! Spring is crazy in my class with testing season and all.” While I totally agree with you, I must also say, it’s such a fun time for our kiddos!

Want a quick and easy math center for the spring time? I got you! This was one of my favorite activities to do in my Kindergarten class because it kept the little ones entertained, challenged and practicing their rote and skip counting.

Be sure to set the mood first and get some excitement started in your class.

  1. Play your favorite spring songs on a streaming device or CD in your class computer.

  2. Diffuse some floral essential oils for a complete sensory experience.

  3. Hang some paper flowers from the ceiling.

  4. Laminate the pieces of your center activity and place them in a flower petal sensory bin with fine motor tools.

  5. Model the activity and have a fun-filled time!
