4 Super Fun Ways to Use a Summer Beach Math Center Activity That Will Have Your K-2 Learners saying, "Surf's Up!"
Hey, hey! Can we cue the pool time and splish splashing fun now or is it still too early? ๐ I know, youโre probably thinking: โGIRL, you are way too excited! Summer is crazy at home with my kids and all.โ While I totally agree with you, I must also say, itโs such a fun time for our kiddos!
Want a quick and easy math center for the summer time? I got you! This was one of my favorite activities to send home for my Kindergarten class because it kept the little ones entertained, challenged and practicing their rote and skip counting.
Be sure to encourage the parents to set the mood first and get some excitement started in their home.
Play your favorite summer songs on a streaming device or CD in their computer.
Diffuse some fun and citrusy essential oils for a complete sensory experience.
Hang some paper suns and palm trees from the ceiling.
Laminate the pieces of your center activity and place them in a water bead sensory bin with fine motor tools.
Model the activity and have a fun-filled time!
